Electronics Engineer
Seeking an Electronic Hardware Design Engineer to
join our busy product engineering team. Reporting
to the Design Manager and working closely with wiring
harness designers, the main functions of the role
will be to work closely with electrical and electronic
component suppliers to define technical requirements
and specifications for components. The candidate
will be responsible for establishing test specifications
and validation procedures for electronic components,
and problem solving and analysis with the embedded
software team for new and existing products. The
role will incorporate liaison with other design
centers and engineering groups, and the provision
of technical support to suppliers, purchasing, manufacturing
and plant activities. The successful applicant to
the position will be degree of HND qualified with
at least three years industrial experience, and
able to work as part of a small team as well as
on his / her own initiative. The candidate will
be experienced in the design of automotive electrical
control units and vehicle systems, and will have
a good understanding of vehicle mechanics, hydraulics
and electrics. Applicants must possess excellent
communication skills with emphasis on documentation,

Test Engineer
Looking for a Senior Test Engineer/Manager with
extensive product testing experience on a systems
level. The ideal candidate will have 5 yrs testing
experience and the ability to build their own team/department.
The engineer will be responsible for outlining the
validation strategies and protocols for system,
hardware and software testing. The correct candidate
will have a real enthusiasm for testing which will
allow them to train and develop the system assurance

You will be installing EPOS systems on client sites
within North County. This may be your first IT job
from a University, or second job from a field based
hardware installation background, but you must have

ASIC Verification Software Engineer
Looking for an experienced Software Engineer within
the ASIC group. The ideal candidate would have experience
from working with low-level software in C and assembler.
Some knowledge from working with FPGA or ASIC design.
Knowledge of scripting languages such as perl, tcl/tk
and unix shells would also be an advantage. This
challenging position requires a self-motivated person.
Main duties will be:
*Develop system test software in C and assembler
to verify functionality in 3G baseband ASICs. *Develop
low level driver software for use in 3G phones.
*Develop and maintain ASIC simulation environment.
*Document test cases, drivers and simulation environment
and work with configuration management tools to
assure repeatability and trace ability. *Work closely
with the rest of the ASIC group in assuring that

Experience in the following is essential: *Assembly
and C programming on a low level for embedded systems,

from working with FPGA or ASIC design; a knowledge
of VHDL simulation setup and debugging. *Using software

least 3 years experience in writing C for embedded
applications. A background as a hardware engineer
or at least a strong understanding of electronics

include real-time operating systems (RTOS), embedded
linux, experience of writing driver software and
any language skills.
VHDL/DSP Engineer

requirement to provide significant technical input
to the design, implementation and test of VHDL based
DSP projects in a real time, communications environment.
Responsibilities will include design, development
and implementation of DSP in VHDL for FPGA. This
